The RBF Archives holds Rosemarie Beck’s professional papers and unpublished personal writings. The Archives, which date from the 1940s to 2003, contain her correspondence, private journals, essays, printed matter, photographs, and more. These items document Beck’s professional activities as an artist and teacher, as well as her relationships with other artists, critics, writers, composers, friends and family.
The RBF Archives are a vital resource for researchers interested in artists of the “New York School” during the second half of the twentieth century. The contents of the Rosemarie Beck Foundation Archives are digitally accessible and available to the public upon request.
